The Yellow Box is a time machine, a magic space, a hidden corner somewhere unknown. A place where memories from the past are as alive as you and me awaiting for the perfect storm to become a tale, a note, a colour... You are now inside it. We combine the five senses in one whole new experience. The audience can see live painting, hear the spoken and sung word, feel the emotion in music. Coloured drinks and aromas accompany the whole event. A picture is painted in response to the recital of the words and music. At the end of the performance the audience are invited to take home a piece of the final picture as a memento. The Yellow Box brings and creates memories for the audience.

  • Why do you do art?

Nicole: I need to create in order to express myself.

Rebecca: I create in order to move others; it’s a journey to understanding ourselves more.

Fatima: I have a need to create as much as I have a need to breathe. How to become well known? Purely and simply luck. Luck is being in the right place at the right time…and meeting the right person there. What we wish to say to the art world: We are trying to change the way art is perceived by combining the arts to feed all the senses at the same time (paint, music, words, smells, taste, touch and emotion). Why are we participating? We wish to share our work with a wider audience. We wish to try to make our right place at the right time happen. How to be selected? Create something attention grabbing and unusual, to have financial support in order to create and promote your idea and relevant contacts
